AI Governance

AI Governance Platform for Auditability, Compliance, and Trust

An AI governance platform provides the infrastructure to manage, audit, and verify AI systems across their full lifecycle — from training data through to deployed decisions.

CertifiedData acts as the certificate authority for AI artifacts — combining cryptographic dataset certification, append-only decision logging, and independent artifact verification into a single governance layer.

The certificate authority for AI artifacts

Just as TLS certificates verify the identity and integrity of websites, CertifiedData certificates verify the identity and integrity of AI artifacts — datasets, models, and outputs. The same cryptographic principles (SHA-256 fingerprinting, Ed25519 signing, public key verification) applied to AI governance.

Every certified artifact carries a machine-verifiable certificate. Every decision is logged with a cryptographic signature. Every component can be independently audited by any party — without access to CertifiedData's systems.

The four governance pillars

1. Data certification

Synthetic datasets are fingerprinted with SHA-256 and signed with Ed25519. The certificate proves: this dataset was generated by a specific algorithm at a specific time by a specific issuer. Any party can verify the certificate independently.

2. Decision logging

Every AI system decision is recorded as a chain-linked, Ed25519-signed log entry referencing the certified dataset used. Append-only structure ensures the log cannot be modified without detection.

3. Artifact verification

Any party can verify a certified AI artifact using only the file and the certificate JSON — no API call, no account. SHA-256 hash comparison and Ed25519 signature verification confirm integrity and authenticity.

4. Transparency layer

Publicly accessible decision logs and artifact registry. Every decision is recorded in a live, append-only log. Every certificate is queryable. Transparency is not a feature — it is the architecture.

Who needs an AI governance platform

High-risk AI deployers

Organizations deploying AI in regulated environments — healthcare, finance, public sector — require verifiable governance records to satisfy EU AI Act obligations.

AI procurement teams

Buyers evaluating AI systems need verifiable evidence that training data was compliant and decisions can be audited — not vendor attestations.

Compliance and legal teams

Legal and compliance teams need machine-readable evidence of AI system behavior for regulatory filings, audits, and incident response.
