USDC on Base payment rail
USDC on Base (Coinbase L2) is an interface-ready stablecoin rail for Agent Commerce payments. Planned for Phase 2.

What stays the same
When USDC on Base is activated, it will use the same Agent Commerce primitives as Stripe:
- —Policy evaluation runs before any on-chain transaction is initiated
- —Ed25519-signed receipts are issued per transaction
- —The same public verification endpoint works for all rails
- —Transparency log entries follow the same event schema
